What if the result is negative?+
A minus sign means the second duration is larger than the first. For example, 1 hour minus 1 hour 30 minutes is −0h 30m.
Can I enter more than 24 hours?+
Yes. These are durations, not times on a clock. You can enter up to 1,000,000 hours per duration. To convert 90 minutes, enter 1 hour and 30 minutes or use the minutes converter below.
